# Saving Tables and Charts To add metrics to your dashboard, click the **"Add to Dashboard"** button, which becomes visible after submitting your query. Before adding a metric, carefully review its explanation to ensure its relevance and accuracy. You can enhance the visual representation by [modifying the chart](https://docs.athenic.com/getting-insights/using-the-ai-analyst/modifying-a-chart) before saving it to the dashboard. Once you've finished customizing the chart, you can add it to the dashboard.

**Note:** Adding a metric to the dashboard saves both the table and the graph. You can easily switch between them by toggling between the available views.
