Key Terms guide user questions by signaling the relevance and availability or providing context for the data. It indicates subjects or topics that are available in the data and should be the focus of questions. The Key Terms panel, on the right side of your chat interface, show matches of the positive/negative/informational terms that are used in your question:

  • Positive terms are used to indicate subjects or topics that are available in the data and should be the focus of questions.

  • Negative terms are used to indicate subjects or topics that are NOT available in the data.

  • Informational terms are used to indicate caveats or limitations about the available data.

When you type in your question and use a positive key term, it will show as bolded in your question and the key term panel will highlight the matched key term in green

When you use a negative key term, which is NOT available in the data, an error message will appear above the Question Bar until you delete the negative term.

When you use an informational key term to indicate caveats or limitations about the data, it will highlighted in blue in your question and the key term panel will show the matched key term in blue
